How to Write Songs: Turn a Poem Into a Song. Part 1.

Do you like to write poems?  Would you like to learn how to song write?  If you don’t know how to write songs, but you do like to write poems (they’re not exactly the same), here’s the process I used when someone gave me a poem of they had written, and wanted me to turn it into a song.  It had some good points, but needed some work before it was usable as a song.  You can see more of the process at my How to Song Write blog.
