Vintage Police, Floyd, Zeppelin shows and more.
Recently, concert promoter Bill Grahams memorabilia was released to the public. You can find it at Wolfgangs Vault. Anyway Bill was a packrat and there are years of concert recordings, t-shirts, posters, and tickets. Anyway they’ve got some of the biggest names in rock-dom, with tapes made from the mixing board. They have the Police in March ’79, Pink Floyd in ’77, Fleetwood Mac in one of the first Stevie Nicks, Lindsay Buckingham concerts, Springsteen in ’73 opening for Blood Sweat and Tears, Little Feat in ’76 with ELO headlining. Not to mention original tour shirts by the Dead, The Who, Stones, Zappa, and a lot of minor acts. It’s like a goldmine, so of course there are lawsuits, namely by the estate of Jimi Hendrix and Jerry Garcia. Amazing stuff.
